Last Sunday, mom and I went Fred Meyer's to get... uhh, I don't remember anymore. Anyways... on the way to the checkout, I saw a little boy, probably age 5, walking around alone and appeared to be crying. I scanned the area and didn't see anyone looking for a kid, and didn't see the kid running to anyone anyways...

I pointed him out to mom and was like, I think he's lost! He was looking into all the isles and his little cries got louder. It really tugged at my heart and irked me that no one was helping him. I went after him, trying to catch up and started walking a big faster and I go "hey, are you lost honey?". He refused to answer me. Well of course I'm a stranger, and I'm a freaking brown person, which probably scared him even more. I asked him if he was lost, and he stood there crying, and I grabbed his little hand and said let's go find your mom. At first he started walking with me, then he resisted and let go and was tryna get away. All I wanted was to bring him to the nearest cashier so they can announce for the parent. My mom was scanning around too and saw a guy walking around as if he lost someone. Mom called the kid and the dad saw the kid and all was good.

Few minutes later we saw the dad walk out of the store carrying the kid.

My beef is, HOW THE HELL CAN YOU LOSE A CHILD??? (I would like to know so I can use it in the future. Ok, ok, I'm kidding.)

Just seeing the kid being lost just bugged me. It it annoyed me that I couldn't get through to the kid. Yes I know he was scared and upset that he was lost, and then a strange lady comes and tries to take him somewhere... LOL.

Bah.

I think pbase is being a bag of poo. I'll have to fix the damn posts with the pictures, or delete them or just delete the entire blog. Bah.

I've not touched my camera in 5 days, no time really. So since I've been neglecting this poor blog, I thought I'll put up more pictures of the baby taken last weekend.

We had a little party for the baby today to celebrate his first visit to our house...

Something sad happened today... Let me tell you the story.
I was waiting for the school buses, when I saw something small and red fly by and land on the rhodadendren next to me... I confirmed it to be a cute little ladybug. I kept watchful eye on it while talking to a parent... I then quickly snagged the leaf with the lil sucker and ran into the office to find a little home for him. Found a little babyfood jar with no lid and put a sandwich bag over with holes on top.

Kept the sucker safe all afternoon long. Brought him home really carefully... Grabbed my macro lense, went outside, tested out a yellow canna bloom and fiddle the settling... and for the grand and awesome star of the session was getting unravelled. I took him out and put him on the flower... He marched up to the tip of the flower and took off like a bat outta hell!!!!

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I literally screamed NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Bahhhh... That stinks!

Oh man I'm pooped! I think I'll hit the hay and forget about reading tonight... That little ghost girl on "Ghost Whisperer" creeped me out.

Found this dude while I was up on a ladder tryna pick apples off our tree... He wasn't too thrilled about being a model, many many times he pulled off the "I'm a big hairy thing, be scared you big giant brown thingie" act. I started feeling sorry for the dude so I let him go, but not without a few snappity snap!
