I might get to display some pics on the art wall of Barnes & Nobles... I'm thinking of putting up 10-12 8x10 pics that are all orange hue-ish. Yet another sunset...

Can you stomach it?

Remember me whining about the crappy remake of SHUTTER? Well, when I got home I was so tired that I couldn't stay awake to watch TV. I was in and out of sleep and pretty soon gave up and just went to sleep.

It was clearly past midnight when I awoke to the strangest growl. It was loud enough and startling enough for me to get woken up with a chill running through my back.

What the hell was that??? I wondered and tried to stay awake to see if I could hear it again.. but I drifted off to sleep just to be woken up by a few quiter growling and rumble. I knew I put my cats in the basement so they won't keep me up all night... so that ruled it out. I began to wonder if there were monsters out there that decided actually show it's face to me now that I don't get worked up over it.

I lay still...

I heard it again... tiny growls this time...

Kite Runner - The movie

This is a must see movie. It was beautifully taken in my opinion and was quite sad. It's based on the novel "Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseni. I have the book, but never got past page 7 for reasons unknown. I'll read the book now for sure. I read on imdb.com that many details were left out, which happens in almost all the movies that are based on books.. but I felt that this movie was handled smoothly...

I remember watching "Namesake" after I read the book and was quite pissed because the movie felt kinda rushed and choppy. Anyways... This movie is touching in more ways than one... I feel that people who come from war stricken places will somewhat connection to the book/movie... I dunno... just read or watch it. It's worth it.

Shutter Remake

YUCK! I must unsee this American version! I watched it with Mara & Morgan just an hour ago... They've gone and screwed it up as always.. why can't they leave these poor movies alone? Why do they go and remake it and screw it all up??? UGH! Gotta rent the original one and watch it again just so that I have that in memory and not the bad acting of Joshua Jackson and that stupid ugly blonde chick who I've never seen in any other movies before.
