Foodography

We had a group project thingie at one of my coworker's house. It was alotta fun. I had to take some kinda food since it was also a potluck... I decided to make crepes using pancake mix and asked mom to pick me a batch of strawberries, blueberries and raspeberries...

The berries were to get carmelized a bit and they go on top of the crepes and we roll it up.. but we decided to not roll it up cuz it was going to get soaked... So mom put the berries in a bowl dish... Initially I was gonna do the berry... I had to run to the bathroom and when I came back, mom had already made them... and she was doing the crepes thingie...

It turned out good I thought apart from the runny syrup... I've gotten a little infatuated with food photography... So I'm going to be fiddling with that as well and that would be a section of my portfolio as well... :).

Anyways... enough yip yapping... here's the beauty mom and I created



We also had a bbq this evening... I put the kababs together...

Wax museum... no lighters allowed.

So picking up the slack...

When we got out of the aquarium we felt like we didnt get enough so we drove down to Newport waterfront area...

The first one we checked out was the wax museum... It was pretty neat... When we got into the entrance we heard someone say "hey come back!" my sis and I were like what the... and we were looking around and it turned out to be a figure of wax and had a projected face and it was talking to us =P





I was taking pics of the first thing I saw and Tiny was like... "Errr... chitthi turn around..." I turned around and I snapped what I saw =P



Jojo freaked out when we went into this cave thingie... It had all sorts of cool stuff... We had to rush out of there too cuz of jojo...

Right after that we went and checked out Ripley's believe it or not... Which I will post tomorrow =P

Aquarium here we come!!

It was such a nice day... the ocean looked so beautiful and inviting!



It took us a while to find the place... We finally found it =P.

Since it was a weekend it was really crowded and everyone was scurrying off quickly without really enjoying cuz jojo was ornery most of the time... I managed to snap some pictures along the way...







Also managed to get a pic or two when we were in the "deep sea" area... the deepest of them that had sharks... the camera refused to do anything despite all the settings... I didn't care about it anyways, I sweat like crazy because I don't like sharks and didn't like being in the tunnel and it was water water everywhere.. I don't care if its in a glass... its still creepy!!!!!!!!




We came outta the tunnel like bats outta hell!

To Tillamook we will go..

Last Saturday my sis's family and I took our aunt to Newport to check out the aquarium but we stopped by Tillamook cheese factory on our way...

The drive over there was really fun... And the sceneries were just soooo goregous! We stopped by one of the viewpoints:





We roamed around and then got hungry so we pigged out...

They had the cutest french fries...:



After that we went off to Newport....

Show me the fireworks!!!

Dad wanted me to bring mom and my aunt over to the care center to see the fireworks.. we sat in one of the empty rooms that was overlooking the Columbia River (just like every other room in that center).. We took Maya along with us... she was watching the fireworks for a lil bit and started shivering and whining.

I took my camera along... (my bro in law refers it to as "merino's oxygen"). I didn't bother taking the tripod... a few pics turned out pretty good... not bad for handheld =P. I'll get better pics on new years teehee..

Ooops.. neglected blog.

I'm freeeeeeee... I no longer have a night job and love going to sleep like a normal person even though dad plops Maya onto me 6:30 in the morning.. but thats okay...!!!

Sis's family and I been dragging our aunt around showing her some parts of Oregon and we been going going going this whole weekend. I had lotta fun, can't complain!

We went to Tillamook cheese factory, Newport aquarium and some of the other attractions in Newport like Ripley's believe it or not, undersea gardens & wax museum... We also went to the zoo (yey!!). I will put up a nice lil traveloguish thingie later on, I just wanted to update right now and put up a few pics of Maya

Puppies!!!

My Coworker/Friend brought the 4 puppies her doggie had to show to my parents.. cuz I wanted to get a puppy for my mom.

I have my heart set on the little brown darling! She's suuuuuuch a cuuuuuteeeeeee! Actually all of them are soo cuuuute!

Fiona the first born of the litter.. she's a little fatty, named after Fiona from Shrek 2

That's Isabella aka "Izzy" and she's the one I want.. she's suchhhh a chellam! She's also the 2nd born in the litter... she's half the size of Fiona.. its crazy!

And this is Stella... lil cutie pie, she's a loner.. and she's the 3rd in the line, same size as Izzy.. they both are short haired..

This is Tonka... he's the runt of the litter! Fiona and Tonka are both long haired like their mommy.. They are all Purebred Chihuahuas by the way...
