I stopped at the viewpoint in US 26, hoping to get a glimpse of Mt. Saint Helens, it was very very faint, I tried to zoom in on it, but still didnt help... Didnt like the zoom pic anyways.. here's just blues and greens

Orange-ou-flage

My mom got me an orange comforter, and orange bedsheets... She also swung by Jo-Ann's fabric store and got orange curtains and made them in 5 minutes and put it up... Although the designs dont match, it looks kinda cool and funky. I like it, why wouldn't I??? ITS ORANGE!!!

I'm not allowed to wear my nose pin to work... Cuz we are supposed to be responsible adults who are also supposed to be role models for the students there... *rolls eyes*.

I've been taking my nose stud off everyday before work, and I put it back in the next day when I get off work... Taking it out and putting back in been really aggrevating my poor nose, and it hurts like crap whenever I do that.. I swear I thought my nose was gonna rip out one night... anyways...

I didnt put it in this time and was trying it just a while ago, and the damn thingie wouldnt go in... The entry hole is still open, however the exit hole is not... I can only try so much... Blahhh!!! So now I got whole bunch of nose studs and no damn hole!

I'm peeved... I've had it for 3 years, and now its all gone down a hole... hmph. Stupid work place and their stupid policies. This is ethnic jewelry dammit...!!!

Blah, good thing this place is not a permanent workplace... I'm getting repierced, except on the right side instead of the left...

I feel so naked without my nose stud... *sigh*

Anyways... This ticked me off, and thats why the title.

I took my camera to work last night so that I can take pictures of the cute raccoons and the deers and blah blah...

So last night I'm touring the halls, listening for odds and ends, I'm also carrying my camera... I look out the window and spot a deer sitting lazily on the fields... So I turn on my camera to take a picture, and what does the screen say...???

"NO MEMORY CARD"

*Slaps forehead*

I've forgotten to put back the memory card in... Pfff... Well that was dumb.

Tiny was a lil butthead! So I took a few of jojo, but then he wanted to leave when he heard his dad's voice...

So... Feeling really bored with taking lame pictures, I wanted to try something... My whole goal today was capturing a reflection... Didnt work well with waterdrop, so I opted to mess with mirrors, flowers and water...

I constructed my own tiny ass studio, I grabbed a black skirt, covered one of the swing doors of my computer table with it, took a tiny stool, put it near the swing door, grabbed my mirror, and placed it so that when I look at it, all I can see is black black and more black. Stole couple of flowers from mom's garden... Sprinkled water on them, sprinkled water on the mirror.. dropped the flower on the mirror and I set to work... I had the flash off, set it on macro... I took pictures, kept clicking away until I felt satisfied enough to try a different flower, different view... After I got it into my comp, of course I had to resize it so I can upload the stupid thing, which means some of the sharpness is lost, so I sharpened the pics a tad and the results are below, along with a few this and that with changing of hues.

Here's an old pic... well taken last year when I was experimenting... I don't like the glow of the candle flame... However, it looks kinda neat... I want to redo the shot one of these days...



Setting:

Its really simple... Make sure everything's dark and the only light is coming from the candle.. =P

No flash
Reduce exposure balance to -1
ISO speed 50... it wont give you those weird lil grainy look to the pic
A tripod would be great...

Anniyan

I just finished watching the movie...

What can I say? It was a very nice movie... It's out and out a one man show, and that one man is Vikram! He was just awesome... The Anniyan character was quite hypnotic, and this is sadistic of me to say but I enjoyed the ways he "punished" the rule breakers...

The flashback was quite short, but was a strong enough reason for him to be the way he is... or is it... hmm...

The best part was the climax... HAH! I didnt even expect it at all... Oh yeah.. I'm in love with the Anniyan character... teehee.

Kudos to Vikram! His lil switcheroo back and forth was awesome... Dont think the part where he was pleading with Prakash Raj was meant to be funny but I laughed anyway... I know my bro is gonna laugh too...

That songs were alright... "Rendakka" was the best of the lot...

Hm.. what else... I wonder if there's an english version of "Garudapuranam"...

Water water everywhere...

We had training for couple of hours at work... Then all of the advising staff went for an outting... We went down to Willow grove park & beach in Longview, Washington... It was crazy!!! We got sure got some crazy staffs... I had lotta fun though, we played games and went absolutely nuts...

The area was so beautiful and scenic... I didnt take many pics cuz I felt awkward.. plus we were doing activities... I did manage to sneak a few... And the weather was icky for the most part so the pictures looked drabby...

Anyways... Here's one I really liked...




The best part was when a giant ship was going by... It was soooOOOOOOOOooo flipping close... We were in the middle of something so I couldnt take a picture =(. That's Columbia river by the way... We can see it from our kitchen window, and I see so many ships passing by to and fro... But today's lil encounter was truly special.

Ok... Me off to bed... all tired and achey... Its not even 10pm!!! blah... I'm too tired to finish up Deception Point even... One more day of work... and off for 4 days... WoOHOO!!! Thank goodness, my feet are crying out loud.

Took some pics from the balcony... I missed out on some cool ones while I was taking a break from all those clicking... Also a house was hiding most of the view... I only saw the ones that came high up, but it was still good...! I cropped the pics cuz there was so much empty black space.

Ughh.. I just noticed what cropping did to these pics... I took them in high resolution, so cropping it makes them pop out or enlarge, in turn it made the fireworks blurry... bleh. Oh well, I dont want to fiddle around anymore.
